How to Make Your Own Presets

A one-click solution.

Well.... not really.
Presets are often sold as being a one-click solution to your editing woes, but that's not actually true. In fact, a "one-click solution" doesn't exist! That's simply because every photo is unique.

What presets are great for, though, is saving you time. They can be a huge time-saver for batch editing real estate or vacation rental shoots, and they can be a great starting point for editing interior design shoots.

What if you're not finding what you like in presets?
Or what if you already have your go-to edits that you do and no presets out there are for those edits?

Girl, you need to make your own!

Saving your own presets is super easy. Promise.
Check out this video to see just how simple it is to create your own presets:

Easy, right?!

If you’re not sure where to start, there's an awesome set of Lightroom presets from The Grove that was specifically made for Architecture and Interiors!

These presets were first created when I was doing real estate and vacation rental shoots. I was doing the same thing over and over and over... So I decided to save my settings to speed things up. And boy did they ever speed things up! To this day, these presets are my starting point for most edits. They're a starting off point that I then tweak as needed.

Check out The Grove's Architectural bundle of presets and brushes!

So next time you're doing the same few adjustments... AGAIN... take a moment to save them! Your future self will thank you 🖤
